Erik Almodovar is a Licensed Professional Counselor, has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and a Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has experience working with adults, couples, and groups on a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, and grief. He specializes in addiction work and has helped a number of people recover from unwanted sexual behaviors and find true freedom. He has also worked with partners to help them find healing.

Prior to becoming a licensed counselor, Erik spent several years in the US Navy and as a pastoral counselor. He loves spending time with his wife and kids, serving in his local church, listening to his record collection, and being a pop culture trivia master.

I’ll work hard to give you new tools to turn your life around and create a life of freedom you’ve always wanted. I specialize in Sexual Recovery and Intimacy Anorexia (Intimacy Avoidance)Recovery.

Although I work with people of all backgrounds and all sexual addictions, I specialize in Christian men who can’t understand how they can love God and their families yet struggle with hidden sexual sins.
